For the past two weeks or so, Raila Odinga led NASA has been talking about a list of irreducible minimums which the IEBC must meet for the repeat presidential elections to happen on 26th October 2017.
Well….. We all know that those irreducible minimums are just part of NASA’s ploy to skip the polls and force a nusu mkate government.
But I won’t dwell on that. Instead, I will table my irreducible minimum for IEBC.
And it is just one, that:
I, Alvan Kinyua AKA Mr Chronicles, an adult Kenyan citizen by birth, a voter of sane mind and good health hereby demand that:
1. The repeat presidential elections scheduled for 26th October 2017 must happen. My vote must count in determining who I pay with my hard earned taxes. And in the event the polls fail to happen on that day, I will simply walk to The National Tallying Centre at The Bomas of Kenya and personally bring my vote to be counted. And in the event that you are not willing to count my vote, I will count it and declare my candidate of choice the winner. After all, Article one of The Constitution of Kenya 2010 clearly states that, all sovereign power belongs to the people of Kenya; and I am a Kenyan by all standards.
