We conquer present and future setbacks by carefully dissecting our past and choosing to ignore that which commits our necks to the noose of obscurity.
Deep in many people I know, you and I included, is a streak for a legacy.
Note that I have chosen not to call it greatness but legacy because the more I reflect, the more I think human beings should live to carve out a legacy that will then define and assign them both a place and purpose in the universe.
Whatever names we may inherit from our parents, we must know that no name has enough force to whitewash a true legacy.
And legacies are not preserves of kings and the glitterati but for any human being who dares find his/her place in the universe.
Good education helps in equipping us with the compass to accomplish this feat.
