Lest we forget Westgate

In September 2013, 67 lives were lost and over 175 people wounded in one of the most cruel attacks by terrorists on the Kenyan soil. The Westgate attack was characterized by mass murder, shootings and a siege that lasted for four days.

Two years on, I dedicate this space to the memory of the loved ones who lost their lives in the terror attack. We wish continued peace to their families & friends. As a nation, we have overcome terrorist attacks before. In fact, we have fought courageously and defeated them within and outside our borders. Terrorism in and of itself, is the philosophy of cowards.
