Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. Jacob Thuranira Kaimenyi was my Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of Nairobi back then. Just like now, numerous allegations of high handedness and arrogance haunted him until he left campus to become a CS.
There are traits which are ingrained deep in a person’s character and unless that individual is willing and ready to change them, they remain to pull him down every time.
By Prof Kaimenyi being unapologetic over his repulsive and nauseating character, he is setting a path for his own destruction. No matter how much I support the Jubilee administration, I am one of those who feel that this man from Meru does not deserve that post. He should either shape up or ship out.
